Classic balsamic dressing

Complements traditional salad dishes and is excellent
served with flakes of poached salmon mixed with crisp
leaves and new potatoes.

150ml/ ¼ pt

Ingredients

90ml/ 6tbsp extra virgin olive oil
60ml/ 4tbsp balsamic vinegar
pinch of caster sugar
salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method

Place all the dressing ingredients together in a dressing bottle or jam jar. Add seasoning to taste. Shake well until the oil and vinegar have blended together and serve.

Once made can be stored in a cool place and kept for up to 1 week.
